Nervous patients

We are delighted to inform you that we are now accepting conscious sedation referrals for healthy adult patients.

Daksha Chauhan graduated in South Africa in 1999 and has been an associate at Egan Dental Care since 2004. She attended a course at the Eastman University in intravenous sedation using Midazolam. In conjunction with this any local anaesthetic administered during sedation will be done so using the Wand. It helps to reduce the anxiety associated with needle phobic patients, and gives a near painless injection with a lower effective dose. Pre- sedation medication is also available.

We have enclosed some referral and medical history forms for your convenience. We would appreciate if these could be mailed to the practice prior to the patient visiting our surgery.

The cost of this is £300 per session (not including treatment) with a £50 consultation fee.
